Hexagon socket Set screws, also known as grub screws, typically have no heads and are fastened into a threaded hole on a component to hold it in place against another component. They are commonly used to hold sleeves, collars, knobs, and gears in place on rotating shafts. They come in a variety of materials and tip shapes which dictate their holding power.
