Set screw

Set screws, or grub screw, are usually without heads. They are installed into a hole in a component and hold it against another component. These screws are used to secure sleeves, knobs and gears on rotating shafts. The tip shape and material determine their holding power.Set screws include Stanadards such as DIN 913 flat point, DIN 914 cone point, din 915 dog point and din 916 cup point.
